Dynamic Drive DHTML | A web building site, with lots of CSS/DHTML scripts. Very clear instructions on how to install and use them. Strindberg + Helium| A Site with these crazy/funny flash shorts about a depressed Edger Allen Poe type guy waxing about how trying life is, with this pink think floating around, repeating random words. I favorite is the second short, "In the Park." The site's design reflects the crazy/funny feel of the toons. Flickr - Photo Sharing | An alternative to Google's image search if you also like to browse aimlessly for images (as I do). Marcos Chin | Best known for his LavaLife illustrations. Chin does that flat graphic CG great. Tomer Hanuka | Another illustrator I like (and whom I have a little crush on since I attended a lecture he gave last year and spoke with him) with a graphic style. Does all his line work with a 00 brush! King Mini | One of the originators of the mini comic craze we all find ourself making when we have half an hour free. The work of Stall is cynic, lonely, introspective, at times funny, and it wouldn't have killed him to take me up on my offer to make him a cake. Brown Mousy | I came across it when I was just surfing around, looking at artists portfolios. Her's just had this...subdued feel to it I liked Pong: the Text-Based Game | This is just a fun, silly funny game. It's a text-based version of Pong. 'Enuff said. Dorks Gone Wild - What Badgers Eat | Okay, other Simpsonphiles will get these sites; they're Simpsons' episode related in-jokes. |
